My fitness routine consists of strength training 4-5 times a week. This routine works for me because my goal is to build muscle, shed fat, and you only need basic equipment to get there. I prefer a simplified training program using the bare essentials.
The gear he uses
The gear I use are adjustable dumbbells, bands, bench, ab wheel, and medicine ball. It helps because all of this equipment helps you build strength and muscle.
With dumbbells, you can perform a variety of exercises targeting your entire body through different ranges of motion. I love performing presses, rows, lunges, curls, and lateral raises with them. The great thing is, the weights are adjustable so I don’t have to purchase an entire set just to train properly.
The bands help give a different resistance curve and feel for other exercises and the ab wheel and medicine ball are great for developing core strength.
How fitness makes him feel good
For me, my idea of health and fitness is to be able to live a long life where I can look good, feel good, and to continue doing things that I like. Whether it’s physical activities when traveling, being able to eat some of my favorite indulgences, or occasional sports with friends, I want to be able to enjoy my life to the fullest as I continue to age.
